Rock and roll & witchcraft

Daniel 3:4-5: Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations, and languages, That at what time ye hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of musick, ye fall down and worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king hath set up:

The sounds of all kinds of worldly music in these last days is bringing worship to the image of the Beast that has been set up according to Revelation 13:14-15: And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. Music is a powerful tool that Satan has used to gather worship to himself. It presents itself in all kinds of genres to appeal to the varied tastes of man.

One form of music in particular that has so degraded the human race is that of rock and roll. In the sermon “Recognizing your day and its message” (July 26, 1964), the prophet of God told of a vision wherein he saw the American church all immorally dressed and led by a witch, marching to the time of twist and rock and roll. We learn from this that rock and roll and witchcraft are connected. The one leads to the other. Rock and roll breeds the spirit of rebellion, and so it is written in 1 Samuel 15:23: For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the LORD, he hath also rejected thee from being king.
